VIRETUM CONSULT (viretum meadow Wiese ) is an owner-managed M&A and corporate finance firm that has been advising medium-sized companies, mature high-tech start-ups as well as private and institutional investors since 2014. ​

In addition to raising equity and debt capital in all business phases, VIRETUM CONSULT provides cross-sector support in strategic projects and transactions, such as the purchase and sale of companies, investments and company successions or the development and implementation of a buy-and-build strategy. Furthermore, support for individual investments or portfolios at advisory board and supervisory board level is being provided.​

The advice is based on many years of experience with a large number of investments and divestments in various industry sectors made by private equity, venture capital and strategic investors as well as M&A projects at home and abroad and is characterized by entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of process know-how. Its aim is to work with clients to implement practicable solutions and market-oriented strategies. ​

The support provided by VIRETUM CONSULT is always individual and personal – supplemented where necessary by a highly competent team and access to an international network. At the client’s request, it is possible to agree a part of the consulting fee on a success-related basis or to convert it into company shares to relieve cash flow.

Hanns-Peter Wiese, Dipl.-Kfm., Owner, has more than 25 years of business, corporate finance and M&A experience. Prior to founding VIRETUM CONSULT, he was a director of a leading German bank in their corporate finance division, head of M&A with a corporate finance firm as well as executive officer, general partner and manager of several private equity and venture capital companies. He carried out over 100 transactions with more than 50 companies in various industries in Germany, across Western Europe and in the USA. A large number of these companies he accompanied through their business cycles over many years as sparring partner of the owner or management, resp. as supervisory or advisory board member, supporting them actively in numerous financings, M&A-transactions and IPOs. Mr Wiese, a native German, speaks fluent English, conversational French and basic Spanish.​
